Why we love them
Well, these Tobisho hand shears really are the finest you can use on your topiary or box balls.
Manufactured in the mountains of Yamagata, a prefecture on Japan’s Honshu Island, Tobisho tools come steeped in tradition.
Made from Kobe KA-70 steel with its high carbon content, they offer a great combination of strength and ease of use. The well balanced design does not put unnecessary strain or pressure on the hand, allowing you to get the job done.
With an overall length of 260mm and the 120mm blades are ideal for yew or box topiary or borders in the garden. A great addition to your tools set along with our other Tobisho tools; snips and secateurs.
As with all Tobisho tools, these clippers carry the distinctive red and yellow handles. The red is highly visible by day and the yellow by night, allowing you to locate your trusted snips. The coloured handle sleeves are removable if you prefer a more traditional look.
Presented in a box, Tobisho tools make a great gift for gardeners.
Pruning of box and yew clipping, cloud pruning, perennial cutting and the Chelsea chop.
